We let ’em off the leash! The dog park was full of a pawty, just for the pets! There were doggie-bags that the pooches were beggin’ for! After working up a sweat running with their fur-iends, many splashed on into the pool for a Puppy Pool Jump! Bow-wow-wow!
No one lost a finger during the pumpkin carving and the Hot Apple Cider was smooth on the sipping! We enjoyed spending the afternoon with all of our residents who attended! You rock!
Breakfast On The Go
Summer was winding down and to lessen the blow, we served up brown-bagged breakfasts on the GO! We passed out 75 bags with healthy, brain powering breakfasts to start your day. Thank you to all who attended by car or foot!
Between the splashing of water balloons and cannon balls in the pool, the pool party was a hit! We gave away a pool friendly prize basket and ate plenty of food. The weather was perfect for the pool-side activities and ice cold drinks under the heat of the sun! Big thanks to our residents as always, we always enjoy the time spent with you all.
Construction Wrap Up
SUCH A BLAST! As if the 50″ and 55″ 4K Ultra HD TV’s that were given away in a raffle weren’t enough to get the party started, the weather was beautiful and the pool was just the splash that we needed! Our team enjoyed playing Cornhole with all of our awesome residents and kickin’ back in the sun with each and everyone of you was just the relaxing Saturday we needed. We even had future residents and prospects of the community join in on the fun with some grub and brews!
Burritos and Buds
“Burritos and Buds” was nothing short of a blast! Thanks to all of our residents who came out and celebrated the beautiful weather! With over 40 guests, everyone’s bellies were full of burritos and all of our resident’s patios are now looking beautiful with the new buds! The pool was the cool spot for the day and the tunes were kickin’! We’ll definitely have to throw another planting party in the future!
Baked Goods & Brews
The months beginning the New Year were crazy busy for everyone, in a great way! Even with all of the commotion of holidays and spring cleaning we were still able to fit in a couple of tastings! In February, we spoiled our residents with chocolates and berries during a chocolate wine tasting around Valentine’s Day. Then, in March we brought out the green beer and green cupcakes! We knew baked goods and brews weren’t everyone’s thing, so of course we threw in some pistachios to follow our green color scheme. April flew by in a hurry and the first weekend of May, our community began bursting with life once again after our first event back on the books, Burritos and Buds.
TOYS FOR TOTS & EGGNOG TASTING
December’s bi-weekly resident events have focused on the spirit of the holiday season! Residents have enjoyed eggnog tastings to get them in the mood for some holiday cheer. More importantly these events have given residents an opportunity to give back to the less fortunate kids around Columbus. While coming to enjoy the eggnog, residents have also been bringing in toys for kids of all ages in our annual Toys for Tots drive.
Together with our residents, Vision Communities tries to find various ways to give back throughout the year. Whether it’s blood drives, can food drives, or donating presents we continually try to involve our residents with the communities around them. Be sure to check back next month to see what we are doing in January!
Bourbon & Bingo
November’s resident event was a bourbon tasting and bingo night. Many of our residents were on hand to enjoy samples of fine spirits. This event is in addition to our running canned food drive taking place throughout the month of November. Our goal is 50 cans. Donations can be made at The Clubhouse.
Edit: HUGE thank you to all of our residents. Our canned food drive is officially over and we EXCEEDED our goal of 50 goods!
American Red Cross Blood Drive
October’s charitable event was an American Red Cross blood drive. We are PROUD to say the residents of our community SAVED 30 lives yesterday! HUGE thank you to all who came out and donated to the American Red Cross!
